NOTIFICATION

No.F.6/10/2000-Judl. – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 35 of the Delhi Rent Control Act, 1958 (59 of 1958) read with the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs’ Notification No.11030/2/75 – UTL dated the 29th July, 1975 and in supersession of all earlier notifications on the subject the Lt. Governor of the National Capitol Territory of Delhi is pleased to appoint all the Officers of Delhi Judicial Service as Additional Rent Controllers for the National Capital Territory of Delhi, for the purposes of the said Act with effect from the date(s) they complete five years of Judicial Service for the respective Civil Districts of their postings as the local limits within which they shall exercise the powers conferred and perform the duties imposed on them by or under the said Act, including in respect of all the hotels and lodging houses located in such limits to which the provisions of Chapter V of the said Act apply.

This notification shall commence with effect from the 16th August 2000.
